Christmas Eve

So it's Christmas eve, but i'm not too excited about it :/ I mean, I am, but idk. It just doesn't feel like Christmas. I blame the weather, but maybe it's because im getting older *gasp* Hmmm... Well on a lighter note! I finally finished wrapping presents (for my inner family anyway, the relatives - not so much) and i'm listening to "merry Christmas happy holidays" by nsync. I know, I'm a dork :) So i was thinking today, about the people at the nursing home. We went to sing carols and such to them yesterday, and I just realized, most of them won't be with their families. They'll be stuck in that nursing home. And I just felt really bad, I mean, it made me feel like crying. My grandma's gonna be with me tonight, but the grannies in there get to just sit and watch the holiday pass by. It's miserable. I pray that they are happy tomorrow, I really do. Well anyway, I hope everyone's toasty and warm tonight, and delighting in the smells of cookies in the oven and holly in the air. (Oh goodness, i sound like a Halmark card. LOL!)
