New year

Well it's almost here, 2008. I can honestly tell you i'm not one for resolutions, because I never ever ever follow em. Like at all. I mean, I'm all for self improvement and such, but I perfer to do it on my own terms. Soooo I'd love to tell you what my resolutions are, but yeah, I don't have any. lol. So, I'll just tell you what I would like to see in 2008:

I would like to see...

• Nice people, Nice faces. I'm sick of rudeness.
• My room finally get painted! I'm ready.
• A Jamba Juice, Taco Milagro, Freebirds, and a good Chinese takeout in my hometown.
• Less news about Britney going crazy.
• Myself finally learn to play my guitar, after having it for 2 years.
• And myself actually finish a story I've written.
• More happiness and less misery
• A cold cold cold day where I live
• A good romantic movie. I'm tired of the same endings!
• More people come to Jesus!
• Change in the world.
• More kids my age having fun without drinking or doing drugs
• Cute purses
• And the absolute perfect day

Okay, so maybe some of the things on my list sound crazy, but hey, I can dream:)

Cleaning Cleaning and more Cleaning

I've been cleaning my room all day. Now get this, my room was clean! Crazy huh? Well i decided to organize it, and get the junk that was just put up in the corner nicely in a nice little box for a garage sale. So i'm halfway done,and I must say I'm pretty happy with the results :) Well anyway, while I wa cleaning I stumbled upon an old diary of mine. LOL. I laughed so hard when I read it. Isn't it funny how we used to think things would like be the crisis of the world, and it was so crucial. And a couple of years go by, and you dont even remember it until you read about it. Crazy huh?

This Christmas

So I hope that everyone got what they wanted for Christmas:) I got a new digital camera (THANK YOU JESUS!), so I don't have to use my dad's anymore. And i got some cute cute cute uggs. And then I got a lot of other stuff, but I don't want to bore you with that;] Anyway, I realized yesterday that the best part of the season really is giving. I mean, of course i loved my gifts lol! But the looks on my parents faces, they were great! I still have some gifts to give, but it's just an awesome feeling:]] Well anyway, I'd love for you to share what you got/gave and the best parts of Christmas, but so far I havent gotten any comments yet, so I'm out on a limb on that one. LOL! :)

Christmas Eve

So it's Christmas eve, but i'm not too excited about it :/ I mean, I am, but idk. It just doesn't feel like Christmas. I blame the weather, but maybe it's because im getting older *gasp* Hmmm... Well on a lighter note! I finally finished wrapping presents (for my inner family anyway, the relatives - not so much) and i'm listening to "merry Christmas happy holidays" by nsync. I know, I'm a dork :) So i was thinking today, about the people at the nursing home. We went to sing carols and such to them yesterday, and I just realized, most of them won't be with their families. They'll be stuck in that nursing home. And I just felt really bad, I mean, it made me feel like crying. My grandma's gonna be with me tonight, but the grannies in there get to just sit and watch the holiday pass by. It's miserable. I pray that they are happy tomorrow, I really do. Well anyway, I hope everyone's toasty and warm tonight, and delighting in the smells of cookies in the oven and holly in the air. (Oh goodness, i sound like a Halmark card. LOL!) I've gotta go get ready for church, so I'll see ya'll later! Merry Christmas eve!:)

Why did i do this?

Okay, so i started to get really tired of myspace blogs. I got tired of em stretching out my page, and etc, so i figured I'd try this out. Hey, maybe it'll work. Who's to say? :) So I'll introduce myself to you. (of course this is the mother approved because its the internet version) I'm Lindsay and i'm a teenager in Texas. 16 to be exact:) I won't tell you where i live, because, well that defeats everything. My life is hectic. and crazy. I love God. He's number one in my life. And no, I'm not gonna say that because it's the american thing to do. Oh geez no. I'm a Christian and i love showing Christ's love through myself. He died for me, why not live for him! Well anyway, I love music, singing, dancing, (like an idiot, mostly) movies, purses, the 80s, photoshop, fun games, writing, reading, cute clothes, shopping, ghiradelli chocolates, tobymac, my friends, my family, jewlery, sparkling cider, gerber daisies, shoes, smiling, nice people, texting, and big sunglasses.and that's me in a nutshell:)
